Trades: Pipeline Contractor: Wastewater, Water Mains & Sewer Systems, may include Camera CCTV Inspections, General Engineering Contractor GEC
Work to be done: Installation of approximately 1,250 LF of 8”, 2,800 LF of 6” and 1,000 LF of 2” watermain along six(6) city streets in Tifton, Georgia. The waterline replacement work is being performed to upsize and/or replacing leaking pipe segments prior to paving operations along the same corridors. Service transfer will be required before abandonment of the existing lines can take place. Portions of the work will require removal and replacement of roadway pavement and/or driveways. No GDOT roadways are involved. Any Contractor submitting a bid must be licensed by the State of Georgia. This project will be funded through local funds. All permits required for the construction of this project are expected to be obtained before the bid date. Acquisition of property for easements, right of way, etc. are expected to be obtained before the bid date. Bonds required.
