The structure is currently secured, but unstable. Stabilization will require attaching beams/supports to accommodate lifting the structure off the steel transport I-beams. Lifting the structure will be done by another contractor. However, restoration contractor is free to propose another method to accomplish this part of the task.2 interior walls are load-bearing and may need to be supported from the ground during the lift. One interior wall is load bearing and carries a heavy bridging structure. Restoration work includes demo beams, flooring, lower 4 feet of walls; load/haul debris; install cripple walls/beams for support of new floor structure, install new treated 12’x12’ longitudinal beams/remove steel channel ties, install new traverse treated 4x12 flooring with treated plywood sheathing, rebuild lower walls with new, built-up treated sill plates, lower structure and install hold-down anchors to new floor, remove siding & install exterior CDX plywood & water shield, repair and install ¾” plywood sheathing at the upper floor, install framing & insulation, and ½” marine grade plywood between the beams; add furring and rigid insulation board & Tyvek at walls; add furring and rigid insulation board & asphalt felt at roof; spray clear sealer/wood stabilizer at exterior walls & roof framing. Work is to be substantially completed before Mar 31, 2020
