Currently, the Agency owns and/or manages: (a) Conventional Public Housing complexes totaling 494 units; (b) Multifamily Section 8 NC senior complexes, totaling 80 units; (c) administrates a total of 704 Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers; (d) management of the City of Mt Holly Housing Department, 46 units of public housing and 34 Section 8 multifamily units financed by Rural Development; (e)a 501-C3 nonprofit Iredell Community Enrichment Corporation (ISCEC) that Agency 40 Conventional Market Rate Apartments (East Ridge Commons, 16 units, and The Commons at West End, 24 units),(for a total of 1,398 units), Grants, and Public Housing Modernization for both Authorities. The Authority is entrepreneurial in its mission to develop and provide housing to low-income families and individuals, and in serving the communities at large.
