The scope of work is as follows: Furnish and install A/C system totaling 10 tons. Furnish and install all refrigerant piping, insulation, support brackets & anchors. Furnish and install proper liquid line drier, sight glass. Leak check system with nitrogen charge. Dehydrate system using micron gauge and vacuum pump. Provide proper refrigerant charge. Furnish and install electrical conduit, wiring and circuit breakers. Provide core hole drilling. Furnish and install ductwork, liner and grilles in the basement storage room. Furnish and install t-stats, dehumidification controls to keep space below 75 deg F and 50% RH. Furnish and install fire/smoke detection & wiring, connecting to existing fire alarm system. Furnish and install air handler stands & drain pans. Furnish and install return air filter & changing access. Furnish and install pumps with plumbing for condensate removal. . Furnish and install float switch for emergency overflow shutdown. Maintain proper outside air quantity required by code, provide louver with washable screen. The outdoor equipment will be mounted on the roof. (Optional: One condenser could be mounted at ground level but must provide anti-theft cage). Bids, in order to be considered, shall be accompanied by a bid bond, payable to the Owner, in amount not less than five-percent (5%) of the total base bid. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
