The work shall consist of furnishing all products and equipment and performing all labor necessary to perform the following: Road improvements including, but not limited to, the construction of 55 SY of 4” deep patching, 6,295 gallons of bituminous tack coat, 15 tons of leveling course, 1,800 tons of open graded crack relief interlayer course, 7,544 tons of 4.75 mix asphalt, and striping for 2.54 miles of Clayton Road, 2.76 miles of Oak Hill Church Road, and 1.13 miles of Trite Road. Time allotted for completion of work is sixty (60) calendar days. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier’s check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid.Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price shall be required of the successful bidder if contract is awarded. Each Bond shall be accompanied by a “Power of Attorney” authorizing the attorney-in-fact to bind the surety and certified to include the date of the bond. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities. Contractor shall comply with E-Verify regulations.
