The Work will involve repair, alteration, modernization, maintenance, rehabilitation, reconstruction or construction of City related electrical systems, electrical control systems and electrical infrastructure. Work may also include the installation of low-voltage cables and fiber for telephone, data and communication systems. The contractor shall provide safety plan to be implemented in project work and coordinate with SDG & E as required for all construction work. Under this contract, the Contractor furnishes all documentation, labor, materials, services, management and equipment needed to perform the Work for a Job Order Contract (JOC). Additional Funding Agency information is included “For Reference Only” and the Task Order Document will determine if any is applicable. Work also includes coordination temporary electrical power to ensure building systems are functional during electrical power shutdowns. Project duration is 730 days. The mandatory subcontracting percentage for each Task Order is 10% for SLBE-ELBE firms, unless specified otherwise by the Task Order RFP. Bonds may be required based on each job. Prevailing wages apply.
