The work under this contract shall be for furnishing all labor, materials, transportation, and services for the construction and installation of the following work: Improvements to the raw water conveyance system at the Jonathan Rogers Water Treatment Plant (JRWTP), generally including the below items. 1. Flow metering vault with a magnetic-type flow meter on the existing 60‐inch Raw Water pipeline. 2. Replace existing raw water fine screens with in‐kind new screens in existing concrete channel structure, complete‐in‐place including power and instrumentation and control reconnection. 3. Rehabilitate the Raw Water Pump Station, including the following items: a. Reline the raw water pump channels and replace with in-kind equipment the pump screw bodies and lower bearing assembly of the existing Raw Water Pump Nos. 1, 3, and 4. b. Reline the raw water pump channel of Raw Water Pump No. 2, including removal and reinstallation of the existing pump. 4. Add a new (fifth) raw water pump train, including a new structure, channel, inlet gate, and associated screw-type pumping equipment in-kind to the existing ones, to be installed south of the existing screw pumps, complete in place. 5. Yard piping, roadwork, drainage, grading, yardwork and other miscellaneous items of work at the new Raw Water Meter Vault site and at the additional raw water pump train site, as shown on the Drawings and Specifications. The work under this contract shall be for furnishing all labor, materials, transportation and services for the construction and installation . Bonds required. Prevailing wages. SMWBE goals.
