This Electronic Invitation To Bid (eITB) for Contractor Services is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide Contractor Services to the City of East Point, Georgia. In brief, the City of East Point wishes to contract with a Contractor who will complete the scope of work required to complete the LMIG FY2020 Road Resurfacing Project. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Late bids will not be accepted. No submitted bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time or receipt of bids for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days. The selected provider will be required to submit a Maintenance Bond valid for twenty-four (24) months in the amount of the total contract award. A 5% bid bond (or certified check in lieu of bond) is required. A performance bond in the amount equal to 100% of the contract amount and a payment bond in the amount equal to 110% of contract price will be required. In addition, a twenty-four (24) month Maintenance Bond equal to one-hundred percent (100%) of the total Contract award must be provided to the City prior to the final Contract payment.
