The project includes replacement of nearly 11,000 linear feet of existing 6-inch and 8-inch diameter sanitary sewer mains by open trench or pipe bursting methods. Active laterals will be reconnected and replaced to the right-of-way boundary and new lateral cleanouts will be installed. Existing sanitary sewer manholes in the project area will be rehabilitated or replaced, and rodholes on sewer main lines will be replaced. The project will also include some storm drain and street improvements. Approximately 600 linear feet of storm drain piping will be replaced open trench and slipline methods. Street work will include grade improvements at the intersection of Placer Street and Orange Avenue, and in Placer Street asphalt concrete will be rehabilitated by cold milling and overlay. 225 working days.
