The 8230 and 8275 Mannix Drive project sites are located in a residential hillside area approximately ¼th of a mile southwest of the intersection of Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Kirkwood Drive in the Hollywood Hills. Existing timber bulkheads at the two sites provide lateral support to the Mannix Drive roadway. The bulkheads are old and have deteriorated causing street distress and collapse locally which has created a threat to public safety. This project will mitigate the threat to public safety and restore lateral support to the roadway by constructing new bulkhead retaining structures. Only pre-qualified contractors on the Pre-Qualified List of Contractors can bid on this project. The following are prequalified: Los Angeles Engineering; • Mladen Buntich Construction Company; • Hayward Baker, Inc; • Jilk Heavy Construction, Inc.; • Kiewit Infrastructure West Co; • Mike Prlich & Sons, Inc; • PPC Construction, Inc.; • Calex Engineering; • Clarke Contracting; Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
