The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract with a firm to provide all labor, materials and provisions necessary to design and install a wireless sound system to be used to play music and as a public address system, incorporated as part of the Downtown Revitalization project, Phase 1, with the ability to expand for future phases. The coverage of the system shall extend the length of New York Avenue from 9th Street to 13th Street. Adequate coverage shall be accomplished by attaching wireless speakers to existing street light poles. The loudspeakers and mounting hardware shall match the black color of the light poles and shall be constructed of water resistant material capable of withstanding the extremes of Florida weather conditions. System control and amplification shall be housed at City Hall.This project encourages M/WBE participation.
