The Town of Moriah received a Community Development Block Grant to support sewer and water transmission facilities in a low income area of the Town. The Port Henry hamlet is where numerous safety concerns from a substandard system exist. The existing sewer and water infrastructure in the area is antiquated and in need of replacement and/or rehabilitation. A bid guarantee from each bidder equivalent to (5%) five percent of the bid price. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
