The project primarily involves repairing damages caused by Hurricane Sally in September 2020. Major construction activities include but are not limited to clearing & grubbing, earthwork, pond grading, and drainage improvements. The previously completed Motley Court Gulley Improvements Project, constructed in 2019, was built in response to major gulley erosion which threatened Clear Creek, which the project ultimately discharges to. The limits of construction begin at the end north end of Motley Court and extends north approximately 1,600 feet to approximately 120 feet south of Clear Creek near the east end of Crooked Oak Drive. The original project site is approximately three (3) acres in size, but areas requiring repair and improvement have been identified in the plans. The project’s overall goal is to repair the existing infrastructure and construct improvements to preserve Clear Creek from sediment deposition. Areas disturbed by the project will be either be sodded, seeded, covered in turf reinforcement matting, or a combination. The project is funded by FEMA. The Work shall be substantially completed within Ninety (90) calendar days from the Commencement Date to Substantial Completion. The Bidder agrees to fully complete all work included within Thirty (30) calendar days from the date of Substantial Completion. Questions via email to Owner by 9/23/2022, 5:00pm. Bonds required.
