The contractor agrees to provide water testing and maintenance services to the water treatment equipment (system 3610131) as required by the State Water Resources Control Board-Permit No. 05-13-18P-002 (See Attachment 1), located at the California Department of Food and Agriculture’s (CDFA), Mountain Pass Joint Port of Entry (MPJPOE) Border Protection Station located on Interstate 15, seven (7) miles south of Primm, NV. The testing and maintenance services could be daily, weekly, quarterly, semi-annual, and/or annual as required by the SWRCB Permit. Contractor agrees to furnish all personnel, transportation, labor, equipment, supplies, materials, permits, and licenses, and any other item of expense necessary to act as the official operator for the water system, perform monthly and quarterly water testing, maintenance of the water treatment system for CDFA, and any other work as required under Permit 05-13-18P-002 issued by the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB). The services shall be provided during normal working hours, Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm, excluding State holidays. Contractor shall check in with shift supervisor for each visit. Consumables and chemicals shall be billed at cost, with no mark up. A list of the various contact persons mentioned throughout this scope of work shall be provided to the Contractor. The Contractor shall perform all monitoring and testing in accordance with California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 4, Chapter 15, Article 3, §64424 (CCR §64424) (See Attachment 2) and SWRCB Permit 05-13-18P-002. Minimum qualifications of the contract operator shall be to possess a T2 and a D1 license from the SWRCB. The Contractor shall keep written or electronic records of all inspections, including; observations, repairs and results to provide record(s) upon request. The water treatment system consists of a domestic water well, a 2,500-gallon hydro tank, and water conditioner. Questions due 6/3/22. Term is three years. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
