The City of Salem, Virginia, is requesting sealed Bids for providing all materials, equipment and labor for construction and renovation of the James I. Moyer Sports Complex, as detailed in the bid document plans and specifications. The project includes, but not limited to the following: Demolition of the existing structures including playground, removal of existing skate park equipment, pavement and bleachers; site clearing, mass grading, erosion and sediment control facilities; water distribution facilities; sanitary sewer facilities; storm sewer facilities; fire service facilities; natural gas service facilities; electrical service infrastructure; and other items as noted on the plans in order to renovate existing ball fields, concession building and ticketing building, new softball fields, new pickleball courts, new skate park, new playground area, maintenance yard improvements, pedestrian walkways and improvements to the existing concession building and other trades/ products as detailed in the bid document plans and specifications. Time for completion: 390 days from the date of commencement. Questions due by 12:00 PM on June 8, 2022. Bonds required.
