The work comprises of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services required for the dredging of an estimated 257,000 CY of material from five (5) major sections of NewtonLake, two (2) ponds that are tributary to Newton Lake and Peter Creek open water areas,dewatering the material, hauling and disposal of dry dredgedmaterial to and NJDEP-approvedlocation, dewatering and access site clearing, erosion and sediment control, mobilization ofequipment, pre-and post-hydrographic surveys, removal of10 disconnected concrete headwallstructures, dewatering site and access site restoration, material testing for acceptance at finaldisposal location and other conditions imposed as “conditions ofthe permit” issued by NJDEP. This project encourages M/WBE participation.
