The work to be completed under this contract consists of installing fence and gates at new locations and repairing existing damaged pedestrian barrier on a work order basis. This work consists of installing new fence and components and removing damaged chain link, wood fence and woven wire fence and components, and replacing all removed fence and components with new material furnished by the Contractor. Removal of the wood fence and the replacement with new chain link fence is located in Libertyville along IL 21 SB from IL 120 to IL 137. The intent of this contract is to provide prompt installation of new fence and repair of damaged fence. The locations for the installation of new fence and the locations of damaged fence to be repaired shall be determined by the Engineer. This work is located on various State maintained arterial and expressway routes as determined by the Department within the counties of Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry and Will. Completion Date: September 30, 2023. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
