All bidders shall provide a business card or pre-printed sheets with appropriate contact information that will be placed in a folder at the meeting. No sign-up sheets will be available. Prospective bidders are limited to two attendees per bidder. Gather at the Entrance Lobby to the Administration Building, where bidders will be met and guided to the work area. Attendees are advised that some walking will be required to reach the work area.
Trades: Overhead and Garage Door Opener Contractor
Virginia Department of State Police will accept bids for Overhead Door Removal and Replacement at the Fleet Services Garage Department of State Police, 7700 Midlothian Turnpike, North Chesterfield, VA 23235. The contractor shall remove the existing door, glass and related components to provide for a clear opening for the new door. All materials are to be taken off site and legally disposed. The Contractor shall verify the sizes and quantities to be provided, but as a guide to assist in this effort, please note the following: One door opening, approximately 14 feet wide and approximately 13 feet, 6 inches high. The new door can generally be described as a coiling, high speed, overhead steel door.
