The City of Middletown maintains a wellfield near the Water Treatment Plant consisting of multiple potable wells. This project will provide the City with a complete pumping system for Potable Well 20. PW20 is an existing well installed by others in the Spring of 2020. The PW20 pumping system shall include 3,500 gpm pump, approximately 430 LF of buried 16-inch diameter pipe, valving and appurtenances, valve box, electric power, and communication for controls. Work also includes abandonment of PW18 and PW19 in accordance with Ohio EPA regulations and guidance. This includes demolition of platforms, concrete valve boxes, fencing, and piping and appurtenances. Additional work associated with this project is provided in the specification and contract drawings. Specifications and contract drawings are attached to this notice. 120 days.
