The work includes, but is not limited to: Pavement rehabilitation including micro milling and overlay including sections of pavement reclamation, installation of intermediate, leveling and surface course superpave material, water main replacement, installation of new granite curb; removal and resetting of granite curb, structure adjustments as required, removal and replacement of cement concrete sidewalk, installation of cement concrete wheelchair ramps, installation of pavement markings and traffic signing, safety controls and signing for construction operations, and all other incidental items included in the contract documents. The project also consists of furnishing all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary for the removal and replacement of various size water mains and appurtenances including gate valves, valve boxes, hydrants, services and temporary bypass piping; and for all trench pavements. The length of water main improvements amounts to approximately 1,200 linear feet of replacement of 6-inch with new 8-inch ductile iron water main and appurtenances.
