The purpose of this request for statement of qualifications (RSQ) is to select the most highly qualified firm(s) to provide the requested services. It is anticipated that multiple firm will be awarded a basic contract to provide the necessary services for a period of three (3) years exercisable at the option of the County. Two, one-year renewals may be allowable exercisable at the option of the County and as approved by the Volusia County Council and mutually agreed upon. The County of Volusia is seeking the services of a consultant to provide Professional Hydrogeological and Well Services for the design, permitting, construction, and/or repair testing of new and existing wells and associated well head appurtenances and pumps; to oversee projects that are critical to the County’s current and future operations; and to support water supply planning, consumptive use permitting, Hydrogeological studies, ground water modeling, aquifer performance testing, monitoring data evaluations, permit compliance monitoring, and biological impact assessments.
