Contractor to provide as-needed services for removal and disposal of protective coatings with hazardous and non-hazardous materials, preparation of surfaces, finish coatings, weld repair of corrosion damage, and Weko-seal installation to correct corrosion damage of components which are a part of the pumping and generating facilities and on the water conveyance system of the State Water Project (SWP) located throughout Southern California, as well as confined space rescue services for said projects, as needed. 1. Bidder and any identified subcontractors must be registered as a Public Works Contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) at the time of bid submittal and throughout the term of this contract. 2. Bidder’s headquarters must be located in the California counties south of, and including Monterey County, Fresno County, and Mono County throughout the term of the contract. 3. Bidder’s shop where work will be performed must be located in the California counties south of, and including Monterey County, Fresno County, and Mono County. Contractor is required to have the following valid licenses and certificates throughout the term of this contract. a. C-33 (Painting and Decorating Contractor) License issued by Department of Consumer Affairs, Contractors State License Board (CSLB) b. Society of Protective Coatings (SSPC) Certification QP-1 (Field Application to Complex Industrial and Marine Structures) c. SSPC Certification QP-2 (Field Removal of Hazardous Coatings). Term is three years with the option to renew for three additional one year terms. Questions due 10/19/22. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
