The City owns, operates, and maintains one hundred six (106) drainage sump stations within the City. The outfalls from the sump stations are the single point of discharge for storm water from their respective basins. The outfall pipes penetrate and cross major levees along the American River, Natomas East Main Drainage Canal, and Arcade Creek. The project entails the partial replacement of the pump discharge pipe for five (5) drainage sump station facilities: 1. Sump 058 is located at 1185 Azusa St (38.60886, -121.49103) and across the levee into American River floodplain. 2. Sump 102 is located near 300 Bowman Ave (38.61751, -121.46923) and pumps across the levee into Natomas East Main Drainage Canal (NEMDC). 3. Sump 103 is located near 3220 Altos Ave (38.62590, -121.44775) and pumps across the levee into Arcade Creek. 4. Sump 154 is located at 79 Arcade Blvd (38.61943, -121.46703) and pumps across the levee into Arcade Creek. 5. Sump 159 is located near 817 Arcade Blvd (38.62504, -121.44762) and pumps across the levee into Arcade Creek. This sump consists of one 36”, one 24”, and one 12” WSPs that penetrate Arcade Creek south levee and outfall into Arcade Creek. Project duration is 100 working days. Questions due by Apr 28th @ 4:00 PM. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply. LBE program participation required.
