Remove and replace with a 6,000 gallon, pre-cast concrete tank. The proposed new tank is larger and deeper than the existing. Sections of the existing incoming and outgoing tank piping will need to be removed to accommodate the new tank. Also, the tank is very close to both the main hospital and the bulk medical gas storage facility. Precautions will need to be taken to prevent undermining of the footing and concrete slab. Bonds required, please refer to documents for details about wage rates. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
