The City of Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is requesting qualifications/proposals from qualified consultants to provide provide on-call source control support for our cleanup efforts at complex, multi-stakeholder contaminated sediment sites. SPU is a respondent under Federal CERCLA and Washington State MTCA Orders for investigation and cleanup of contaminated sites, including and not limited to the Lower Duwamish Waterway and Harbor Island Superfund CERCLA sites and the Gas Works Park MTCA site. SPU partners with, and is a joint Respondent with, other City Departments as well as outside government agencies and private corporations. These projects deal with the unique challenges of contaminated sediment sites in Washington State, including health risks to Environmental Justice and non-English speaking communities, Tribal Treaty rights, and complex multi-Agency coordination. To facilitate preparation of responses to questions, please submit questions by no later than 12:00 pm PST on Monday, September 26, 2022. Prevailing wages.
