A non-mandatory Site Visit will be conducted at the site of Leucadendra Sewer Pump Station, located at 490 Leucadendra Drive, Coral Gables, FL on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 11:00 am.
The City of Coral Gables is soliciting bids for Sanitary Sewer Pump Station Leucadendra – Rehabilitation – IFB 2020-040, from a pre-qualified contractor contract RTQ 2017.02.MS General and Specialty Trade Contractor Services. All bidders must be pre-qualified under contract RTQ 2017.02.MS General and Specialty Trade Contractor Services pool contract in order to submit a bid for this solicitation. An application package can be downloaded at: https://www.coralgables.com/departments/Procurement/request-to-qualify and submitted to: 2800 SW 72nd Avenue, Miami FL 33155 Attention: Letrice Smith or emailed to lsmith@coralgables.com The Project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, services, mobilization, and incidentals, per the scope of work outlined herein and the Plans and Specifications attached to this solicitation under Exhibit A. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following: Plug In-fluent pipe at Wet Well; By-pass Installation; Remove and dispose of existing discharge pipe, including fittings (e.g. reducers, elbows); Remove existing pump’s bases. Temporarily(during Construction) Pumps removal to be done by the City; Repair and level Wet Well floor with Five Star DP Epoxy Grout; Install new 18" x 24" x 1/2" SS 316 Base Pump Plate, anchored to the floor with SS 316 Bolts, Nuts and Square washers; Install new pumps bases (Provided by the City) with SS bolts, nuts, washers, Install new 4-inch C-900 PVC-FM discharge pipes; Install new DI fittings (e.g. new reducers, new elbows) and Megaflanges Restrained Flange Adapters with Stainless steel 316 Bolts; Upon completion of the above task, City personnel shall perform pumps installation and startup. Upon completion of this task by the City, the Bidder shall perform remaining tasks listed below. Remove by-pass; Clean Station
