The University of Texas System and The University of Texas at El Paso are soliciting Competitive Sealed Proposals for selection of a General Contractor firm for Satellite Plant - 3 Cell Counterflow Cooling Tower Repairs, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in the attached Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals. Respondent will repair and refurbish cooling towers including but not limited to casing repairs, media and drift eliminators, distribution system, structure, fans, sump, and electrical. Questions are due by 3:00 PM on May 27th. HUB Subcontracting Plan required. Anticipated substantial completion estimated for Jan 31, 2023. Final Completion TBD. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
