Work includes the rehabilitation of Scenic and Scenic East steel reservoirs, the replacement of Derby steel reservoir with a smaller capacity steel reservoir, and the replacement of Acorn steel reservoir with a smaller capacity concrete reservoir. The work includes demolition and removal of reservoirs, valve vaults, and roofs; raising the height of steel tanks; construction of aluminum dome roofs; construction of a steel reservoir and a concrete reservoir; construction and rehabilitation of valve vaults; abrasive blasting, priming, and recoating of tank interior and exteriors; and constructing civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and pipeline improvements at the reservoirs. The reservoirs are located at four sites in Danville and San Ramon in Contra Costa County, California. Trades include, but are not limited to; demolition, saw-cutting, hazardous material handling, grading, excavation, fill, concrete, shotcrete, rebar, waterproofing, roofing, tank construction, painting, industrial coatings, structural steel, bolting, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, pipeline, plumbing, fire protection, crane equipment, handrails, guardrails, ladders, gratings, and railings, doors and windows, fencing, trucking, hydroseeding, landscaping, paving, and other required work and trades.
