Firms interested in providing Security Camera Systems Retrofit, Maintenance, Repairs and Related Services are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications to the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks (RAP) in response to this Request for Bids (RFB). With over 450 parks under the jurisdiction of RAP, a service contract for the retrofit, maintenance, repair and related professional services to security camera systems is critical to maintaining and securing our current park facility infrastructures. RAP’s current Security Camera Systems require quarterly maintenance; additionally, much of the system requires repair, retrofit and related services. The purpose of this RFB is to pre-select a qualified vendor for Security Camera Systems Retrofit, Maintenance, Repairs and Related Professional Services. This RFB requires that the Bidder first demonstrate their experience and qualifications in performing Security Camera Systems Maintenance, Repair, Retrofit and Related Services. Once the Bidder demonstrates their qualifications for the said professional services, bidders will be required to provide bid prices for all bid line items on the bid sheet provided. This RFB will be awarded solely on the lowest bid price once Bidder meets the minimum qualifications. Low bidder will be determined based on a weighted average. RAP will provide weighted percentages for each bid line item and will sum up each line item based on their pre-determined weighed percentages. Only the qualified lowest Bidder will be recommended to the Board of Recreation and Park Commissioners (Board) for a contract award. The firm will be awarded a contract for a three (3) year term. The Contract will have a total annual expenditure not to exceed one million dollars ($1,000,000.00). The Contract will reflect various work orders on an as-needed basis. In awarding this contract RAP guarantees no minimum compensation.

Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
