The Contractor will be responsible for removing snow and ice from parking lots, sidewalks, loading docks and building entrances. This can be done by mechanical or manual means. The Contractor shall provide these services on an “as-needed” basis when two (2) inches of snow accumulates, or any amount of ice has accumulated on sidewalks, parking lots, building entrances, or as requested by the University Contract Manager. Snow must be hauled from the sites, to the Contractor’s own locations, when there is excessive snowfall, or as requested by the Contract Manager. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply, please refer to documents. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
