Two projects in the same physical location, next to the new 6th Street Viaduct over the LA River E of downtown: creation of a new park, and rehabilitation of an old sewer. ■ E700235F: ♦ Develop a new 12-acre park underneath and adjacent to the Sixth Street Viaduct from Mateo Street on the west to the US101 freeway to the east. The park features walking/jogging paths, dog parks, restroom buildings, Rec & Park staff building, cafe building, performance arts plaza, adult fitness equipment, synthetic soccer field, multi-purpose fields, basketball court, children's mister area, picnicking/grilling areas, general landscaping and irrigation, fencing, lighting, and tunnel improvements. ■ SZC14224: ♦ Rehabilitate approximately 477 linear feet of existing 36-inch circular sewers in the Central Business District by ultraviolet cured-in-place pipe (UV CIPP). The alignment of the reach begins at the 6th Street Siphon outlet structure continuing west on 6th Street towards Santa Fe Avenue, then south on Santa Fe Avenue. Rehabilitate 6th Street Siphon outlet structure and existing maintenance holes. MBE 10% WBE 4% SBE 25% EBE 8% DVBE 3% Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
