The proposed pavement rehabilitation project is located in Maricopa and Pinal Counties on Phoenix-Casa Grande Highway (I-10), Eastbound (EB) and Westbound (WB), and within the Gila River Indian Community (GRIC). The project begins at MP 167.10 and extends south to MP 173.10 for an approximate length of 12.00 miles. The work consists of milling 2.5 inches and replacing existing pavement with 2 inches of asphalt. In addition, the work includes replacing guardrail, pavement markings and other related work. This project is located on a Native American Reservation, in the Gila River Indian Community (GRIC), area, which may subject the contractor to the laws and regulations of the Gila River Indian Community (GRIC), and its TERO office. Contractors are advised to make themselves aware of any taxes, fees or any conditions that may be imposed by the Gila River Indian Community (GRIC),) on work performed on the Reservation. The time allowed for the completion of the work included in this contract will be 140 calendar days. Prequalification required. DBE goal is 8.71%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
