Resurfacing Pool and Deck at Temple Terrace Family Recreational Complex. New water line & gutter tile to be installed. New depth markers and "No diving" tiles are to be installed on an "As need basis". Install new flush floor returns and sidewall returns. Install new vac lock safety-fittings. Provide keyed joint for new deck to tie into around pool beam. Remove starting blocks and anchors. Install (9) starting block anchors and install (6) new starting platforms purchased by owners. The existing (2)1 meter diving boards are to remain in place. All ladders and rails to be stored and reset. The existing dual slide to remain. All rails, ladders, starting platforms, diving boards, and lights to be bonded per 2017 florida building code 6th edition. The pools will be tiled and resurfaced. The perimeter gutter grates will be removed and stored for reinstallation on site. Additional grates to be provided as needed. The perimeter gutter will be checked and verified that it is level. The lap pool will be surveyed and certified that is meets usaa competition dimensions and requirements by an outside engineer. The lap lanes and targets will be re-tiled. Steps are to be re-done to meet current code. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the estimated total bid as a guarantee that the bidder will not withdraw from the competition prior to sixty (60) days after the opening of the bids, and, if awarded the contract, will within ten (10) consecutive calendar days after written notice of such award, enter into a written contract with the city of temple terrace, florida in accordance with the accepted bid.
