The work to be performed hereunder shall include the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, transportation, supplies, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the complete and satisfactory replacement/rehabilitation of public utilities for the City of Lynchburg as described in the plans. The work shall include, but is not limited to, the construction of approximately 4,400 lf of 8” water line with associated appurtenances along sections of Taylor Street, Monroe Street, Polk Street, Jackson Street, 3rd Street, and 4th Street. Additionally, two storm sewer structures and approximately 90 lf of 10” sewer pipe shall be replaced along 4th Street, and two new sanitary manholes shall be installed. Approximately 1,225 sy of new sidewalk and handicapped ramps shall be constructed along sections of 4th Street and Monroe Street, complete with approximately 450 sf of segmented block walls. Lastly, the construction shall require approximately 2,000 sy of utility trench patching, and approximately 3,400 sy of Jackson Street shall be milled and paved as shown on the plans and as described in the technical specifications. Bonds required. Prevaling wages apply.
