The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as “VDOT”), an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia, is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide on-call, as needed temporary traffic control services for various VDOT Operations or highway related emergencies throughout Smyth and Washington Counties of the Bristol District, in accordance with the specifications contained herein. This solicitation will be awarded in two (2) lots. Bidders may bid on one or more lots. If a Bidder is successful in being awarded multiple lots, the Bidder shall be capable of providing necessary services and equipment as specified for each lot simultaneously. Lot 1 – Smyth County, Lot 2 – Washington County. The contract will be for a period of one year, effective from date of award (renewable). Provide questions by close of business five (5) days prior to the bid due date. SBE goal 42%.
