The intent of this bid is for Orange-Ulster BOCES to award to a qualified contractor the work associated with the new Wastewater Treatment Plant at the Gibson Road Campus. The General Contractor (Contract 1a) shall be responsible to provide excavation and backfill for the installation of the new gas, water and telecommunications services to the new building. The General Contractor shall be responsible to install high tensile pulling rope in conduit. The Electrical Contractor (Contract 1d) shall be responsible to provide excavation and backfill for the installation of the new electric service to the building. The Plumbing Contractor (Contract 1c) shall be responsible to install the following:1 1/2” Gas service and regulators to new building. 1” hdpe water main to the new building. RPZ valve on the water main. Waste and CW supply line to lab sink. ¾ “ gas piping and connection to AHU in new building. Install two (2) hose bibbs. A satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and accepted sureties in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and material men's bonds issued by satisfactory sureties. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
