A walking site review for conference attendees only will follow the pre-bid conference. A member of Procurement and the Project Manager will provide an overview of the work to be performed and answer questions.
The scope of this project is to furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary for Roof Project at the Water Treatment Plant, in Albany, Georgia, in accordance with the plans and specifications contained in this bid document, and subsequent addenda. Contractor’s bid shall include all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment, and all other items necessary to complete the contract requirements in accordance with bid documents, special instructions, specifications, and all other provisions included in this invitation to bid. It is the bidder’s responsibility to visit the job site and become familiar with the local conditions. This roof project will be bid on a lump sum basis for all specified work and will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in the manner that best benefits the City of Albany. 5% Bid Bond is required of all bidders. Bid bond must be present for bid to be read or considered. A Contract Performance Bond, and Labor and Material Payment Bond each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount will be required of the successful bidder.
