The Work consists of a single contract for the construction of water distribution system improvements on George Urban Boulevard from Harlem Road (NY Route 240) to Wheaton Drive; and From Union Road (NY Route 277) to Cherokee Drive in the Town of Cheektowaga, New York, to include: abandonment-in-place of existing 6 inch water mains (4150+/- linear feet total); installation of new 6, 8, 12, 16, and 24 inch Ductile Iron Pipe (6000+/- linear feet total) water distribution piping and appurtenances within the public rights-of-way; interconnections to existing 24 inch Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe water transmission main and to existing 6 and 8 inch water distribution piping; testing and disinfection; replacement of existing water services with connections to the new water mains; and associated restoration of pavements, driveways, sidewalks, and lawn areas.
