The Whitfield County Tax Commissioner’s Office is looking to better serve the citizens of Whitfield County by increasing the number of parking spaces available to those visiting the facility, by thirty-six (36) spaces. Due to surrounding topography, and limited access, the construction will involve the construction of 122 feet of new road to access the proposed parking area. This road has been designed to conform with the City of Dalton road and street specifications, thus, all construction shall conform with all technical details shown on the complete construction plan set. This project shall not be exempted from the City of Dalton’s Stormwater Ordinance. Therefore, the contractor shall be prepared to construct the stormwater pond, and all related drainage structures, as shown on the complete construction plan set.
