Demolition of existing bubbler level sensor and installation of new ultrasonic level sensor at the Filter Influent Wetwell. Replacement of 8 existing influent filter pump VFDs with new. Demolition of existing outdoor alum day tank/polymer tank area and associated structural and mechanical components. Demolition of existing alum piping, pumps, and appurtenances within the Alum Pump Room. Demolition of existing polymer piping, pumps, and appurtenances in downstairs Polymer Room. Installation of new level transmitters in 29 of the 30 Filters. Replacement of existing filter backwash supply magnetic flowmeter with new. Replacement of each filter's differential pressure cell flowmeters with a magmeter. Replacement of Filter #6 influent butterfly valve with new and replacement of two additional influent butterfly valves (location to be determined by the City). Backwash Pump VFDs to consist of 2 moved/relocated VFDs and one installation of City owned VFD. Replacement of all NPW Mercoid pressure switches with new. Replacement of all NPW pressure and flow transmitters with new. Install hoists on the 69-inch and 72-inch filter influent propeller flowmeters. Replace existing Filtration Building roof. Modifications to existing storage room for server room relocation, including HVAC upgrades and redundant DX system, structural repairs, wet utility modifications, and communications and power modifications. Modifications to existing server room and replacement of Filtration Building HVAC including new ductwork. Remove and replace existing filter control panels (with their internal PLCs, associated relay logic, and I/O exchanges to field devices) with ten new PLC-based Filter Control Panels that include Operator Interface Terminals (OIT) integral to the control panel assembly. Paint entire Filtration Building. Replacement of a filtration pipe header tee. Add four additional Filtration Building isolation valves. Convert Filtration Building lighting to LED. Concrete repair and corrosion coating of 30 filters. Bonds required and Prevailing wages.
