The City of Avondale is seeking bids to establish a one-year contract with four, one-year renewal options for swimming pool chemicals for the City's Parks and Recreation Department. The City reserves the right to award by individual line item, by group of items, or as a total, whichever is the most advantageous to the City. B. General Information: 1. All products bid, furnished, and delivered must meet the needs of the City. Each item bid on the pricing section must be identified with the brand and manufacturer's number. 2. Quantities listed in the Pricing section represent an approximate annual quantity. 3. For each product bid, bidders are required to supply literature with the chemical composition demonstrating the product complies with the specifications. The city will make the final determination as to whether or not a product is acceptable. 4. All deliveries of products requiring a safety data sheet (SDS) shall include a SDS with the product. Contractor shall be able to deliver orders to the designated ordering location within seventytwo (72) hours of order placement. 6. The City has an ongoing requirement for the products included in the IFB. The Contractor shall maintain a reasonable inventory on hand for delivery. 7. The City requests catalog discount pricing should the need arise to order a chemical or supply not currently listed in the solicitation. 8. The Contract shall not add fuel surcharges or handling fees. The City will not pay fuel surcharges or handling fees. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
