The Project is located along Salvador Avenue between SR29 and Jefferson Street and is described as follows: The project will construct new sidewalks, driveways, curb and gutter and curb ramps to provide accessible paths of travel along both sides of the Salvador Avenue. Additions and alterations to the storm drain network will be made to accommodate the new infrastructure. The project will also repave the street and redefine lane widths with a new striping layout to provide Class 2 bicycle lanes on both sides of the street. Preserving the health of the mature oak trees along the corridor during construction activities is a project priority. Best management practices must be followed to mitigate damage to the trees' roots. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
