The general scope of work for this project includes approximately 2400 feet of road rehabilitation work within Napa Sanitation District’s wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) site consisting of full-depth recycling in place and placement of a hot-mixed asphalt overlay, and full-depth asphalt pavement structure replacement for the WWTP access road (Access Road). Work generally includes demolition of existing features or improvements, cold planing the existing roadway surface, pavement mat, shoulder backing, concrete flatwork, drainage improvements, pavement delineation, signage, restoration of gate traffic detector loops and temporary traffic control, including flagging within the adjoining railroad right-of-way as required by the railroad agencies. Miscellaneous work includes preparation and maintenance of an unpaved detour access road (Detour Road) for maintaining traffic during the rehabilitation work on the Access Road, and such other items and details, not mentioned above, that are required to be performed, placed, constructed, or installed by the 2023 Caltrans Standard Specifications, or these Special Provisions.
