The proposed Work consists of construction of the Colorado Gulch Pedestrian Bridge. This construction of the bridge will require the removal of the remnant concrete abutments out there now, new poured-inplace concrete abutments set on driven piles, and a steel truss bridge with wood decking that is prefabricated as described in the Project Drawings. The pathway is to be a natural pathway. Improvement/rehabilitation using natural materials like dirt or wood chips on an existing natural pathway that measures approximately 15ft x 450 ft, to access the bridge site, for construction and for pedestrian access after work is completed. The Work shall be completed in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall bid the construction of the abutments, approach, and bridge, accordingly. Bid Forms will be provided in the Contract Documents. The project is planned to be completed by September 15, 2024. If this date is not able to be met by contractor, please indicate in submittal. Bonds required.
