Improvements on this project include adding a lane in both directions of Illinois Route 47, Illinois Route 176 east, and Illinois Route 176 west. This project also includes the realignment of Pleasant Valley Road to meet with Illinois Route 176 east to create a four-legged intersection. The work to be performed under this contract consists of pavement removal, earth excavation, hot-mix asphalt (HMA) full-depth pavement, HMA shoulders, temporary traffic signals, traffic signal modernization, temporary and permanent street lighting, pipe culverts, storm sewer, pavement markings, signing, erosion and sediment control, traffic control and protection, landscaping, bioswales, precast and cast-in-place concrete box culverts, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the improvement as shown in the drawings and as described herein. Project labor agreement. DBE goal 22%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
