The Board of County Commissioners of Garrett County, Maryland will accept sealed bids for the replacement of Bridge No. G-0014 on Snowy Creek Road as specified over Snowy Creek in Crellin, Maryland. The major items of work for the project include construction of abutments on caissons, coordination between the County and County maintenance crews, truss erection, bridge railing installation, earthwork, asphalt pavement, storm drain systems, metal traffic barrier, erosion and sediment control, maintenance of stream flow, and maintenance of traffic. Staged construction shall be used to minimize roadway closure times. Work shall be sequenced to minimize roadway closure times. Snowy Creek Road may be closed for two weeks during Stage 2 to shift traffic from the existing to proposed structure and roadway alignment. Snowy Creek Road shall remain open to two-way traffic during Stage 1 and Stage 3. Bonds required.
