The City is seeking a qualified Contractor to provide construction services to renovate office spaces in a City facility located at: Bohrer Park Activity Center , 506 S. Frederick Avenue, Gaithersburg, MD 20877. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, services, and coordination necessary for a complete construction of all work shown on the construction documents, the scope of work includes but is not limited to: i. Permitting & Inspection: Securing all necessary permits and coordinating required inspections. The City permit fees will be waived for this project. ii. Demolition: removal of walls, disposal existing furniture, floor finishes and other items as noted in construction documents. iii. General Construction: Construct new walls with metal frame, sound insulation material and gypsum board, install doors and windows, modify ceiling grid and install new acoustic ceiling tiles. iv. Electrical: Install/reconfigure electrical circuits for outlets and lighting as noted in the construction documents. v. HVAC: Modify Heating, Ventilation and Airconditioning (HVAC) ducts and thermostats, test and balance (TAB) system as noted in the construction documents. vi. Floor Finishes: protect and retain existing floor finishes in some areas and, replace floor finishes in areas as noted in the construction documents. vii. Paint Finishes: Prepare surfaces and paint renovated spaces as part of base work scope, if add alternate scope is approved, paint office hallways as noted in the construction documents. viii. Warranty: The work completed under the contract shall be warrantied for one (1) year, which shall include all associated costs of warranty repairs. ix. City will coordinate installation of office furniture and room number plaques.

The North End Hangar Development project is for the erection of the first of five new box hangars, along with associated apron pavement to provide aircraft access. It includes: site grading, stormwater management improvements, all erosion and sediment control measures, construction of apron pavement, construction of the foundations, and erection of the box hangar structure, utilities, and construction of an access drive and parking lot. The contractor is responsible for developing the permit and construction documents for all building work.

This project involves replacement of existing 24-inch valve and vault installed in 1999, with new 24-inch valve. The project is located near the intersection of Randolph Road and Old Columbia in Silver Spring, MD Montgomery County, within the 495A pressure zone The primary function of a valve of this size is to isolate sections of the transmission main during repairs and replacement work.Proper function of this valve minimizes the length and time that this transmission main is down during work on this water main.The condition of large valves is based on leak and repair history, inspection results, operational status, age and condition.Troubled valves are typically identified during the inspection or operation of said valve and reported to the Utility Service and/or System Controls Divisions.The order of replacement is then primarily driven by failure mechanism, importance and location of the valve. This valve is part of 24-inch transmission main that transports water to the Colesville Elevated tank.The valve was identified in 2019 for replacement by the Utility Services Division as a result of an inspection, that found the valve stem to be free spinning, blind flanged and missing internal gates.Ultimately the valve couldnt be repaired and was recommended for replacement.With this valve being inoperable, it can affect the level of service and ability of WSSC to provide water to a significant number of customers in both commercial/industrial and residential locations as well as the water levels in the Colesville Elevated tank within southern Montgomery County.

The work on this contract will primarily focus on the NIST Gaithersburg, MD Site, the DoC Boulder Labs and one annual waste pickup at the NIST WWV/WWVB broadcast facility near Fort Collins, CO. The Gaithersburg site occupies almost 600 acres and includes over 60 Buildings and over 1000 research laboratories. The DOC Boulder Labs site occupies approximately 200 acres and includes 23 buildings. The NIST WWV/WWVB broadcast facility includes two (2) buildings. Some emergency response tasks may be required at the NIST Gaithersburg, MD and Boulder, CO Site.

The City of Gaithersburg is seeking proposals for the repair and replacement of the Gaithersburg Aquatic Center indoor pool white coat. Aquatic Center, 2 Teachers Way, Gaithersburg, MD 20877. Scope: A. Pool White Coat Replacement i. Remove all existing plaster and existing racing lane tile markers, and/or any other tile markers down to concrete substrate. ii. Pressure clean the concrete substrate to remove any chemical residue that may prevent bonding. iii. Prepare the surface of concrete substrate to receive new plaster coating. iv. Re-plaster on the existing concrete substrate with the new cement plaster white coating per manufacturer's recommendations and provided drawings and specifications (Refer to Exhibit A). v. Replace underwater tile including all race lanes, targets, expansion joints and trim tile. New tile at similar level as new plaster. vi. Replace shallow area mosaic tile; can be any aquatic animal. (Refer to Exhibit E) vii. Replace shallow side ADA stairs transition tile line. (Refer to Exhibit D) viii. Provide and install new main drains grate and frame. ix. Apply commercial bond coat to entire surface of pool. B. Final Cleaning i. The Contractor must clean whole project area, remove all dust and debris from surfaces.

The intent of this Request for Proposals is to select a qualified construction firm for the removal and replacement of the three underground fuel tanks, fuel pumps and dispensers, electrical wiring, plumbing, the installation of a new air hose/vacuum system and the installation of a new diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) tank and a new temperature controlled underground DEF tank located at 800 Rabbitt Road, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20878.

The Contractor shall provide all resources, materials, and equipment required to receive and properly address all Request Tickets for Investigation (RTI) issued to MC by Miss Utility. The services shall include investigation and confirmation of the presence or lack of AUGU in the affected area as shown on the RTI, and when required, demarcation/re-demarcation in the field. Such demarcation/re-demarcation shall include painting, flagging or staking the horizontal location of the AUGU in accordance with current demarcation standards of the American Public Works Association (APWA) and Miss Utility Law.

It is the intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide Montgomery College with fire alarm and electrical work on the Takoma Park/Silver Spring campus, located at 7600 Takoma Avenue Takoma Park, MD 20912, in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings described herein. A brief summary of the scope of work includes the renovation of the electrical room and replace existing fire alarm system complete.

This project converts city owned and maintained high pressure sodium (HPS) streetlights to light emitting diode (LED). The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for the conversion of streetlight luminaires to LED, the safe recycling disposal of the removed HPS luminaires, and any other associated equipment and resources to complete the work. The streetlights owned and maintained by the city are underground serviced (UG) and are mounted on metal or fiberglass poles ranging in height from 12 to 30 feet.

Montgomery County is accepting bids for Refrigeration Maintenance & Repair Services. The Contractor must provide quarterly preventative maintenance services which include the ability to test, troubleshoot and repair the equipment listed in Attachment D. The County reserves the right to add and/or replace equipment with the same or similar type/brand of equipment. Preventive maintenance is the work required to check, adjust, clean, and service equipment according to the manufacturers recommendations / specifications. All preventive maintenance and repairs must comply with the relevant equipment manufacturers recommendations. All work performed by the Contractor must meet local, state, and federal codes and standards and be performed under the Contractors license, if applicable. Preventive maintenance includes but is not limited to the following: The examination, lubrication, adjustment, and calibration of parts to include but not limited to belts, bearings, capacity and safety devises, check valves, condensate pumps, coils, control transformers, control wiring, dampers, electrodes, all filters, fuses, environmental controls, fans, motors and motor starters, pressure controls, compressors, refrigerant filters drier, refrigerant piping relays and all necessary maintenance require to keep the units in proper and continuous operation. Repairs necessary to return the equipment to operational level. Minor repairs must be completed at the time of the scheduled inspection. Repairs that cannot be completed at the time of inspection, must be scheduled, and completed within 15 business days.

This project at various locations in Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties is for Areawide Mastic and Joint Crack Sealing. Work shall be performed as directed by the Engineer and may or may not be on a continual basis. Except for emergency conditions, it is unlikely that work will be scheduled for the months of November through March. The work will consist of the following: (a) Areawide Mastic and Joint Crack Sealing All locations for this contract will be identified after the project is awarded. Each task will indicate the scope, limits of work, the estimated quantities, and completion duration limits.

The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to maintain all County-owned streetlights in PEPCO, Potomac Edison, and BG&E service areas, including all new lights to be installed during the life of this contract. All lights are underground-fed and primarily free-standing, but the inventory also includes lights mounted on signals, bridges (over/under), tunnels, and bollards. The underground cables transmitting power to the lights are owned and maintained by the utility companies. The Contractor shall be responsible for the maintenance of the above-ground infrastructure including all wires from the hand box (or the hand-hole at the base of the pole in case of direct-buried) to the luminaire. The only exceptions would be at sites described in Attachment K where the contractor shall also be responsible for the maintenance of the underground cables transmitting power to the lights. Contractor compensation for underground wire repairs shall be based on time and materials, to be approved and authorized by the Engineer in advance.

The Department of General Services' intent is to retain a Contractor to provide automatic doors: furnish, install and maintenance repair on as needed basis. The County may require work to be performed at any of its facilities. The contractor must be an established automatic door contractor with at least five (5) years of experience prior to this solicitation, providing services of similar scope and extent as the ones detailed in this solicitation.
