It is the intent of the City of Englewood to establish a contract for Tree Removal & Emergency Services on Street and Park Trees, and City Owned Properties/Vacant Lots. 2.0 EMERGENCY SERVICES a. Emergency, on demand, tree services including but not limited to down limbs and/or uprooted trees, hanging limbs, roads/sidewalks blocked by limbs and/or trees, trimming, whole tree removal. b. Work shall be performed in accordance with ANSI Z133.1-2017 Standard for removing trees and cutting brush. c. No work shall be subcontracted out. d. The contractor shall be available for emergency calls twenty- four (24) hours a day, 365 days a year throughout the duration of the contract. e. The contractor shall be on site to emergency calls no later than one (1) hour after notification. The contractor shall be available via phone service or cell phone at all times. f. The minimum call out time shall be four (4) hours from the time contact is made and location(s) given. There shall be only one four (4) hour call out payment for each (4) four hour period regardless of the number of times a contractor is called during such period. g. Recognized Holidays – New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
