This is a structure replacement project. The work to be performed under this contract consists of removing and replacing the existing single span bridge structure (SN 053-0097) carrying US 24 over a tributary stream to the North Fork of the Vermillion River with a double box culvert (new SN 053-2042). Additional work includes roadway removal and reconstruction above the proposed structure, roadway resurfacing, wider paved shoulders, guardrail upgrades with HMA stabilization, slope and ditch grading, and field entrance improvements. DBE goal 10%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
