El Paso County seeks a qualified Contractor to operate, maintain, and program the Los Portales Museum and the Old El Paso County Jail Museum in a manner that conveys the historical significance of San Elizario, instills local pride, and supports the preservation of historic buildings and cultural sites. The Contractor shall advance public understanding of local history while aligning operations with nationally recognized museum standards and state historic preservation best practices. The services shall be provided under a one-year contract term, with the option to extend the contract annually for up to five years upon approval. Services are anticipated to commence in October 2026. The County will provide written preliminary notice of its intent to extend the contract each year. The City of Socorro Texas, is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) to conduct a City Historical Survey. The Request for Qualifications is pursuant to the Survey Professional Services Procurement Act as outlined in 23 CFR 172 and Subchapter A, Chapter 2254, of the Texas Local Government Code. The City is seeking to obtain the services of qualified consulting firms or professionals specializing in historic preservation, architectural history, or related disciplines to conduct a comprehensive two-part City Historical Survey in accordance to Secretary of the Interiors Standards for Identification and Evaluation (36 CFR 61), and the Texas Historical Commissions Historic Resource Survey Manual and associated attachments, and the THCs standards for GIS data, digital photos, inventory tables, and contextual documentation.

Esperanza Water Works Electrical Improvements. The installation of new El Paso Electric Service to the R.O. Site and Well Site to include new electrical service, metering disconnects, transfer switches, generators, panels, docking stations to feed existing equipment and to power new HVAC units. The project also includes extending power from the Well Site to a nearby above ground storage tank for lighting and instrumentation power. Electrical will include low voltage wiring in duct bank systems through pullboxes, cable testing, trenching and backfill. The existing sites must remain operational utilizing existing temporary generators until new service and equipment has been installed, testing, commissioned and switched over. New equipment foundations, slabs and supports will be required as shown on drawings and described in Specifications, or otherwise required for a first-class operating facility.
